As a system designed to protect against threats, protection systems have permeated multiple key areas, including military, cybersecurity, critical infrastructure, education, and civilian protection, providing security for various assets and activities.

Military Sector

In the military sector, protection systems are primarily used on platforms such as tanks and armored vehicles to defend against threats such as anti-tank missiles and rockets. Active protection systems detect incoming munitions through radar and electro-optical detection devices and utilize computer-controlled countermeasures for self-defense. They can be categorized into soft-kill, hard-kill, and integrated defense systems. Typical examples include Russia's "Thrush-2," "Arena," and "Afghanistan Stone" systems, as well as the US's "Quickkill," Germany's "Avis," and Israel's "Trophy" systems.

Cybersecurity Sector

In the cybersecurity sector, protection systems are widely used. In cloud security, China Mobile's scenario-based cloud-ground collaborative solution utilizes the "ClawScan" deep detection tool, the "Lobster Cage" protection system, and the "OpenClaw End-to-End Security Center" to build security protection capabilities covering the entire lifecycle of intelligent agents. Web Application Firewall (WAF) protects websites from attacks by safeguarding both standard and designated non-standard ports.

Critical Infrastructure Sector

Critical infrastructure is a key application scenario for protection systems. Taking the power industry as an example, the security protection system for power grid monitoring systems follows a strategy of "security zoning, dedicated networks, horizontal isolation, and vertical authentication," establishing a multi-layered defense system with boundary protection as its core, and gradually introducing technologies such as trusted computing to address high-level cyberattacks.

Education Sector

In the education sector, protection systems safeguard information assets such as university websites. University website security protection systems are typically built from three dimensions: security management, security technology, and security operations, encompassing physical security, network security, application security, data security, and operational measures such as vulnerability scanning and situational awareness.

Civilian Protection Sector

In the civilian protection sector, protection systems are reflected in the planning and construction of civil defense projects. In building a new protection system for "future communities," we improve the civil defense planning and configuration system, divide protection zones, and utilize digital information technologies such as 5G, AI, VR, IoT, and BIM to achieve digital management of civil defense facilities and efficient emergency response in wartime.
